Mercado DC brings Latin American Street Food in a unique experience to Washington D.C. With this Festival, we not only want to lavish Latin and Hispanic cultural history, but also celebrate the contributions of world citizens whose ancestors came from these beautiful origins.

Delicious puestos de comida (food stands) are being aligned to sell a diverse variety of street-style food Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru, El Salvador, Spain, and more countrie. Bring your Para Llevar (to go) container! 

Mercado DC will feature artists, a spectacular live band, a D.J., and lots of family friendly entertainment.

Mercado DC, a unique Festival of its kind in the region, takes place on Sunday, May 5, with a special Cinco de Mayo celebration. For which we have selected a historic location, the community-centered and diverse, Eastern Market North Hall on Capitol Hill. An old building with vaulted ceilings and dramatic arched windows. Ideal for a family day visit to the Mercado!
